Starkville Police Searching For Information About Assault

STARKVILLE, Miss. (SPD RELEASE) – The Starkville Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance to establish the events leading to a Sunday, March 12, 2017, aggravated assault.

On Sunday, March, 12, 2017, at approximately 2:00 P.M. the Starkville Police Department responded to an apartment at 305 Everglade Avenue to the report of an individual being injured.

Through the investigation it was determined that an individual had been assaulted.

The victim was flown out of the area and is currently receiving medical treatment for an injury to the face. This incident is being actively investigated.
