State Prisoner Stabbed To Death

HOLLY SPRINGS (WCBI) –  An inmate from Alcorn County is dead after a fight at a Holly Springs prison.

PIRTLE

Oscar Pirtle was stabbed to death around 3:30 this morning inside the privately run Marshall County Correctional Facility.  A second prisoner was treated and released from the hospital.   Pirtle was serving a 15 year aggravated assault sentence.   So far no charges have been filed in connection with Pirtle’s death.
