Store Manager Attacked on the Job

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI)- A Tupelo grocery store manager is recovering after being injured in the store Saturday afternoon.

A person was trying to pass a stolen check at Todds Grocery on West Main when the manager stepped in to detain the individual.

The suspect then attacked the worker but was quickly apprehended and taken to jail.

The victim was carried to the hospital where he was treated and released
