Superintendent Interviews Under Way

LOUISVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) — The Louisville school board has begun interviewing three finalists for the school superintendent’s job but it may be next month before someone is named.

The board and the Mississippi School Boards Association narrowed the field of 16 applicants down to three to begin the interviews this week.

The board is holding a budget workshop Friday morning but doesn’t have a regular meeting scheduled until July 15, when the new superintendent is likely to be named.

Dr. William Wade will work as superintendent until then, when he is retiring.
