Suspected Fire Bug Busted In Prentiss County

BOONEVILLE, MS (WCBI) –  It’s two strikes and you are out for a Rienzi man.   Prentiss County Sheriff Randy Tolar says 36 year old Paul Morris faces two counts of arson for trying to burn the same residence twice on the same day.

Deputies took the initial call about an arson on County Road 8262 this past Sunday morning.  A few hours later neighbors spotted a man back at the home trying to set it on fire the second time.   Deputy Wesley Graves spotted the suspect car nearby and was able to capture Morris.  Morris is being held on a $40,000 bond on the arson charges
