ALCORN COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Residents in Alcorn County have been reporting cemetery thefts for months. Now investigators say the three responsible are behind bars.

51-year old Kevin Gunn, 35-year-old Angela Gunn, and 57-year-old Theresa Robertson, all of Corinth, are charged with destroying public property.

Authorities say the three planned to open a florist shop with the stolen items.

Investigators executed a search warrant at their rental space, and found thousands of dollars worth of floral arrangements, ceramic angels, crosses, and more.

Bond is set at $15,000 each and the case remains under investigation.
