Tishomingo County Deputies Arrest 2 on Meth Charges

BURNSVILLE RESIDENTS ARRESTED

August 26, 2016

On August 25, 2016, Tishomingo Sheriff’s deputies went to 21 Jefferson Street in Burnsville, Mississippi to serve a JUSTICE COURT WARRANT on JULIE KAY YAGER. When the deputies arrived at the residence, they witnessed YAGER attempt to hide something. The deputies checked the area where YAGER was at and found alleged MARIJUANA, alleged METHAMPHETAMINE, and some drug paraphernalia. At this time the deputies placed YAGER in custody and transported her to the Tishomingo County Jail.

JULIE KAY YAGER, 37-year-old white female of 21 Jefferson Street Burnsville, Mississippi was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE). YAGER is currently in custody of the Tishomingo County Jail awaiting bond to be set.

Also on August 25, 2016, Tishomingo Sheriff’s Department deputies conducted a traffic stop on a white truck for erratic driving in the area of CR 55 Tishomingo, Mississippi. The vehicle initially fled from the officers for approximately 2 miles before the deputies were able to pull the vehicle. Once the driver was out of the vehicle, the deputy placed the driver under arrest. A passenger was left in the vehicle. During the course of the traffic stop, a search of the vehicle yielded two bags of alleged METHAMPHETAMINE that were located in a pill bottle in the passenger’s purse. At this time both the driver and passenger were transported to the Tishomingo County Jail, where the passenger was charged with a FELONY.

DEBRA GARRISON, 50-year-old white female of 179 Eastport Street Burnsville, Mississippi was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE). GARRISON is currently in custody of the Tishomingo County Jail awaiting bond to be set.
