TISHOMINGO COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Voters have spoken, and by a narrow margin, Tishomingo County is going wet.

All the votes were finally counted late Wednesday afternoon.

3,267, or 51% of voters were in favor of allowing liquor sales in the County.

3,225, or 49% of voters were against it.

You’ll also soon be able to buy beer and light wine in Tishomingo County, too.

That was another 51% to 49% split.

More than half of the county’s registered voters cast ballots on Tuesday (5-21).

It will be at least 60 days, before county leaders get everything ironed out, and you can buy alcohol in Tishomingo County.
