Tishomingo County Sheriff’s Office Makes Drug, Burglary Arrests

TISHOMINGO CO., Miss. (PRESS RELEASE) – On September 10, 2016, the Tishomingo Sheriff’s Department dispatched deputies to a location on CR 247 in regard to a white male taking things

from a shop and placing those items in the suspect’s white pickup truck.

Tishomingo Sheriff’s Deputies arrived on scene and found the Suspect, John Anthony Lovelace, still there at the shop.

Sheriff Deputies then contacted the owner of the shop who informed them that no one had permission to be on his property or had permission to remove any items from his property.

At this time the deputies then transported LOVELACE to the Tishomingo County Jail.

Lovelace, 36-year-old white male, of 339 HWY 365 South Burnsville, Mississippi was officially charged with BURGLARY OF COMMERCIAL BUILDING and GRAND LARCENY.

Lovelace’s felony bond was set by Justice Court at $10,000.000.

He remains in custody of the Tishomingo County Jail at this time.

 

On September 19, 2016, at approximately 5:00 am, 911 informed the Tishomingo Sheriff’s Department of a caller located on North Street in Tishomingo, Mississippi. 911 stated that the caller has informed them that an unknown white male had just broke into the residence and was still on the property and was being held by the occupants of the residence waiting for law enforcement to

arrive.

Deputies immediately responded and was able to speak with the Victim and also apprehend the alleged Suspect.

The deputies then were conducting a “pat down” for weapons, when the officers found some alleged methamphetamine in the pant pocket of the Suspect.

The Suspect was then transported to the Tishomingo County Jail.

Mark Anthony Isbell, 38-year-old, white male, 1311 HWY 25 Tishomingo, Mississippi, was officially charged with POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE) and BURGLARY OF DWELLING.

Isbell also had several MISDEMEANOR ARREST WARRANTS from the Town of Belmont and Golden.

Isbell’s felony bond was set by Justice Court at $35,000.00.

He remains in custody of the Tishomingo County Jail at this time.
