Two Day Saturation Pays Off in Tishomingo County

TISHOMINGO COUNTY (PRESS RELEASE) On March 14th – 15th, 2017, the Tishomingo Sheriff’s Department conducted several traffic stops throughout the county with the help of local agencies, the Iuka Police Department and the Belmont Police Department.  These traffic stops that were conducted, produced several FELONY drug arrests as well as arrests for OUTSTANDING WARRANTS and CAPIAS.  Those arrested and charged are as follows:

MERRYMAN

  1.       ANTHONY SCOTT MERRYMAN, 28 -year-old, white male of 800 West 2nd Street Apt #E Iuka, Mississippi was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE) W/INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE – ENHANCED W/FIREARM. MERRYMAN’s bond was set at $10,000 by Justice Court and is currently on Pre-Trial Diversion with the District Attorney’s Office.

WILLIAMS

  1.       KATLYN WILLIAMS, 19-year-old, white female, of 69 CR 727 Corinth, Mississippi was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE). WILLIAMS’ bond was set at $3,500.00 by Justice Court.

CLINGAN

  1.       DAVID CLINGAN, 38-year-old, white male, of 15D CR 109 Tishomingo, Mississippi was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE) and FELONY CHILD ABUSE. CLINGAN’s bond was set at $15,000.00 / each charge.

CLINGAN

  1.       NATALIE CLINGAN, 27-year-old, white female, also of 15D CR 109 Tishomingo, Mississippi was also charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE) and FELONY CHILD ABUSE. NATALIE CLINGAN’s bond was set at $10,000.00 / each charge.

RUSSELL

  1.       WILLIAM ERIC RUSSELL, 37-year-old, white male, of 507 5th Street Northeast Red Bay, Alabama was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE) as well as having an OUTSTANDING WARRANT for Belmont Police and a “HOLD” placed by Itawamba County. RUSSELL’s bond was set at $7,500.00 by Justice Court.

PACKO

  1.       JAMIE PACKO, 28-year-old, white female, also of 507 5th Street Northeast Red Bay, Alabama was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE) as well as having an OUTSTANDING WARRANT for Golden Police. PACKO’s bond was set at $5,000.00 by Justice Court.

MORRIS

  1.       JESSICA MORRIS, 34-year-old, white female, of 129 CR 59 Dennis, Mississippi was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE)W/INTENT TO SELL – ENHANCED WITHIN 1500’ OF CHURCH and FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (HYDROCODONE). MORRIS also had 2 OUTSTANDING CAPIASES’ for her arrest, both CAPIAS’ were for FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE.  MORRIS’ bond was set by Justice Court at $10,000 for the Possession of Meth (Enhanced), $5,000 for the Possession of Hydrocodone and each CAPIAS had a GRAND JURY bond amount of $5,000 / each.  MORRIS total bond amount was at $25,000.00 and is also currently on Pre-Trial Diversion with the District Attorney’s Office.

SMITH

  1.       FRAGEL SMITH, 33-year-old, white male, of 2 Jefferson Street Burnsville, Mississippi was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (ADDERALL). SMTH’s bond was set at $5,000.00 by Justice Court.
