Alabama Woman Arrested for Fatal ATV Accident

MONROE COUNTY, Miss. – (WCBI) On 12/06/2013 at 1336 hrs Monroe County Sheriff’s Department deputies responded to a call of an ATV accident at Weaver Creek near the campground.

Christopher David Herrington 40 years old of Samson, Alabama was a passenger in the Polaris Razor. Herrington was transported to Gilmore Hospital in Amory where he was pronounced dead on arrival. Samantha Vizzina 44 years old of Montgomery, Alabama was the alleged driver of the Polaris Razor. Vizzina was arrested and transported to Monroe County Detention Center. Vizzina has been charged with DUI- Manslaughter. Bond was set today for Vizzina at $10,000.00 by Monroe County Justice Court Judge Robert Fowlkes.
