Video: Louisville Police Investigating Stabbings

LOUISVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) — Louisville police are investigating two separate stabbing cases this weekend.

One man was stabbed to death. Another was sent to the hospital.

Investigators tell WCBI the first incident happened late Friday night.

They’re now charging Jason Baughn with aggravated assault, saying he stabbed J.W. Bennett at a home on Pineywood Drive.

Bennett is still in critical condition at a Meridian hospital.

Then late Saturday night, officers say a fight broke out at a party at an apartment complex on Beal Avenue.

Police say then Taqee Mullins was stabbed once in the side. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he later died.

Investigators say they’re charging Marvin Dash with murder, and he will make his first court appearance, Monday.

Both stabbing cases are still under investigation.
