WEST POINT, Miss. (WCBI) – It’s a much anticipated event each year in West Point.
On Saturday, the streets of downtown West Point were filled with nearly 300 vendors.

From food, to arts and crafts, there is something for everyone at the 37th Annual Prairie Arts Festival.

A 5K race was also held this morning.

Organizers say Prairie Arts is a unique West Point tradition.

“We are five blocks downtown West Point of some of the best arts and crafts and fine arts you’ve seen in the south. Lots of food, vendors. We’ve got some great shops downtown and if you want to escape the crowd, you can sit down in one of our restaurants that’s within walking distance. So a lot of things going on in downtown West Point this weekend,” said Lisa Klutts, coordinator of Prairie Arts.

Prairie Arts is held on Labor Day weekend each year.
