Video: Students Perform in Marching Band Festival

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) — What a difference a week makes. Last week’s foul weather forced the cancellation of the 44th annual Mississippi High School Athletic Association Region One State Marching Band Evaluation at Tupelo High School.

But Saturday’s weather was perfect for the 29 high school bands taking part, including the Aberdeen high school band.

There were prizes for various categories including music ensemble, visual ensemble, and general effect.

There was also judging for percussion, drum majors, and auxiliary units.
