Video: Columbus Shooting Suspects Bond Set

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Two suspects in a Columbus shooting are in police custody after turning themselves in.
Investigators say 23-year-old Jarvis Alexander and 20-year-old Kenny Armistad turned themselves in to police Tuesday evening.

The shooting happened Tuesday morning, just before nine in the 1600 block of 7th Avenue South, near Newell Paper Company.

Shell casings could been seen on the ground nearby. Officers spoke with witnesses at the scene.

During the investigation, officers identified Alexander and Armistad as suspects.

Both are charged with drive-by-shooting, shooting into a dwelling and aggravated assault.

Armistad’s bond is set at $2.5 million dollars and Alexander’s bond is $2 million.
