Video: Starkville Kids Learn Bike Safety

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) — Students were able to learn all about bike safety in Starkville.

Armstrong Middle School hosted a bike rodeo for fourth through eighth graders, Saturday.

Police and crossing guards were on hand to guide students through safety courses.

There were door prizes such as helmets, clothes and even bikes.

There was also a bike repair station and healthy snacks.

The event is sponsored by a Mississippi Department of Transportation grant to the city of Starkville.
