OKOLONA, Miss. – (WCBI) Okolona police call it a family dispute that took a violent turn.

Now, four Okolona residents face charges in the weekend shooting that left a teen with a gunshot wound to the head.

32-year old Leonard Ray Darden and Archie Darden, 26, of Okolona are both charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and possession of a weapon by a felon.

Bond is set at $30,000, but Archie Darden is on a hold from the Mississippi Department of Correction.

The 14-year old victim is in stable condition tonight, at LeBonheur Children’s Hospital in Memphis.

His parents, Rayfer and Stephanie Darden, are charged with felony child neglect in connection with the shooting.

Other charges may be filed.
