Update: Monroe County Plane Found

MONROE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A plane reported missing in Monroe County has been located.

EMA Director Bunky Goza says the private aircraft was en route to Madison, Mississippi.

WCBI first learned of about the missing aircraft about 10:45 AM on Tuesday.

Emergency crews are at the airport, near Amory.

Monroe County Coroner Alan Gurley is also on the scene.

WCBI has a crew at the scene and will have more information as soon as it’s available on this developing story.
