UPDATE- Victim In Oktibbeha County Crash Identified

OKTIBBEHA COUNTY (WCBI) An Idaho man is dead after an early Saturday crash in Oktibbeha County. State troopers say 30 year old Richard Ochoa of Idaho Falls died when his Toyota collided with another car at the intersection of Longview Road and Highway 25 . Ochoa was thrown from his car and died at the scene of the 2:30 AM wreck.

22 year old Jamarkus Pendleton of Jackson was in the second car traveling on Highway 25 .  His car caught fire with Pendleton trapped inside but rescue crews from the Starkville Fire Department and the Oktibbeha County District Five Fire Department were able to free him as soon as they arrived.

He was treated for non life threatening injuries at OCH. The Mississippi Highway Patrol is still investigating the cause of the crash.
