STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) — Some Starkville business and community leaders found themselves behind bars today, but it was for a good cause.

A “Jail and Bail” fundraiser raised money for the Department of Human Services Family and Foster Care Programs. Among those arrested: WCBI’s Legal Analyst Jeff Hosford and Chancery Court Judge Kenneth Burns. In addition to raising money, organizers hoped to raise awareness about the needs of children being cared for through DHS.
