COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – “Birmingham: The Movement that Changed the World” Civil Rights exhibit is now in Columbus. The Columbus Arts Council, Dream 365 and the Conventions and Visitors Bureau partnered to display the exhibit as a part of the week long celebration that honors Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.  The Dr. King holiday is Monday, January 20, 2014. Located at the Columbus Arts Council on Main Street, the exhibit displays several original artifacts from Birmingham, like segregated water fountains and arrests records of those who marched. The museum will also offer special presentations each Wednesday in January for youth and church groups. For more information about the Dream 365 events, go to http://www.dream365.info/.
