COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — The first day of Spring provided the perfect backdrop to kick off “Noon Tunes” in Downtown Columbus. The 5 week series in the courtyard of the Trotter Convention Center features music from local bands and lunch from a local restaurant. Tatum Shappley kicked off the 2015 season Thursday. Some in the lunchtime crowd were newcomers, while others were regulars.
“We have been coming to this event since they started it several years ago,” said local patron Stuart Phillips. “It’s just nice to get out of the office and get outside when the weather is nice, like it is today. It’s a great event with great music.”
You can catch “Noon Tunes” for the next four weeks from 11:00A.M. to 1:00 P.M. It is sponsored by Main Street Columbus.
