MISSISSIPPI STATE UNIV., Miss. (WCBI) — What do Environmental Sciences and eleven different universities from across the Southeast have in common? A whole lot, if you are talking about them all coming together for the fourth annual Natural Resources Graduate Student Symposium. Students came from Texas, Alabama, and Louisiana, to name a few, to Mississippi’s College of Forestry to share research, meet potential employees, and discover natural resources.
The symposium will include keynote speakers and workshops from known leaders in the field of environmental sciences to help students with oral and poster presentation skills. The groups symposium is the only conference in the nation to be run by students.
