COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI)- Reach out and touch a wild animal? That’s a little too dangerous, but the Mississippi Museum of Natural Science is bringing wildlife indoors.

Naturalist Debora Waz had a huge “show and tell” presentation Wednesday morning at Heritage Academy. Students in the second through sixth grades learned about Mississippi’s wildlife, and they got to see pelts and shells up close.  They also got to touch a real, live alligator.
