Video: Lamar County Alabama Storm Damage Update

LAMAR COUNTY,Ala.(WCBI)—Cleanup efforts continue for Lamar county Alabama today after a line of strong sell storms moved into the area Tuesday night.

Cleanup crews have been out every day cleaning debris from roadsides and clearing damage from property.

There were a total of 14 structures damaged however the roads were maintained.

District 3 Commissioner Terry Roberts says it’s difficult getting the cleanup process underway but is happy things weren’t worse.

“Man we were blessed. We were very blessed that we had no casualties at all that is it was mostly structure. Now we had one elderly lady that got hurt from what I understand sh’e going to be ok,”said Roberts.
