VIDEO: Local Industry Expands Resulting In 30 New Jobs Becoming Available

LOUISVILLE, Miss. (WCBI)- Today the city of Louisville celebrates another industry expanding.

POLO Custom Products is broadening operations by investing $150,000 and creating 30 full time jobs.

The company specializes in sewing, film and fabric welding, custom fabric, and foam thermoformed products.

Some popular competitive consumers are Harley Davidson and the US Department of Defense.

The plant currently employs 160 workers at it’s factory.

“Well it means a great deal to our associates and certainly to the city and to us, to our customers. We’re excited to be able to commit to at least 30 jobs and have lots of opportunity for even further expansion beyond that. So it means a great deal in terms of making a difference in the lives of the people who work here, and certainly in the lives of our customers,” says CEO Karla Klem.

The company’s last expansion was in 2011 when they invested $525,000 and created 10 jobs.
