CLAY COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)-One Clay County supervisor wants to see more planning and action than waiting, from the board of supervisors.  District four supervisor Shelton Deanes told the board of supervisors Thursday (12-27), the county has spent too long waiting for money to come in before planning improvement projects. He believes the board has depended too much on the Golden Triangle Planning and Development District to find grants and other funds for county projects, rather than the supervisors putting their effort in. Several county improvements have been discussed, including making the Henry Harris Administrative Building a multi-functional facility with an additional courtroom and office space. Clay County Attorney Bob Marshall suggested creating a five year plan for the county. That way as money comes in, projects are already in place to use it for.
