Video: Mysterious Montpelier Man Linked To Foul Play

CLAY COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)-People in the tiny Clay County town of Montpelier are wondering whatever happened to Felix Vail. He seems to have disappeared, just like two of his three wives. Vail’s other wife, drowned. When it comes to the unfortunate and mysterious end of the women who once knew Felix Vail, there are more questions than answers. Ray Vail Road in rural Clay County looks the same as it did when Felix Vail grew up here. Now Vail, 74, is being tied to the mysterious death and disappearance of three women who were in his life. Clarion Ledger Investigative Reporter Jerry Mitchell has done extensive research on Vail. He tells us he has a habit of dropping out of sight. One Clay County man, who wishes to remain anonymous, claims Vail had a violent streak and is known to have killed cats and dogs. In the early 60’s, Vail’s first wife Mary Horton Vail drowned. In 1973 wife number two, Sharon Hensley disappeared, then in 1983 Annette Craver Vail vanished. She was last seen in the company of several Mexican men. The new owners, of what was once Vail Farm in Clay County, also wish to remain anonymous, and can not shed any light on where Vail might be.
