Video: Noxubee County Man Indicted for Murder

MACON, Miss. (WCBI) –A grand jury has indicted a man for First-Degree Murder in Noxubee County.

He faces the charge after allegedly stabbing and killing a man over a year ago.

Investigators believe Johnny “Bullet” Slaughter got into a fight with Dennis “Beach ” Gavin in November of 2015.

The fight allegedly ended with Slaughter stabbing and killing Gavin.

Slaughter suffered serious injuries, some of which were to his face.

The incident happened at the “Talk of the Town” club in Macon.

A trial date has yet to be set.
