ABERDEEN, Miss. (WCBI) — Lee County officials plan to move forward with the sentencing of James Everett Dutschke on state fondling charges.

That decision was made after Dutschke withdrew his guilty plea Tuesday on unrelated federal charges of sending ricin-laced letters to the president, a congressman and a Lee County Justice Court judge.

The district attorney had agreed to a 25-year sentence on the fondling charges to run concurrent with the federal time.

Now, Dutschke will be in Lee County Circuit Court May 27 to be sentenced on the sex crimes. He pleaded guilty to those charges back in January.
