Video: A Packer Wish Come True

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Wisconsin is known for its cheese and Green Bay Packers football.

Now, a Columbus kid will soon soak in the action from Lambeau Field.

Kobe was diagnosed with a life threatening disease.

His only wish was to go watch a Packers game.

The Make-A-Wish campaign took the request a step further by making sure Kobe got a jersey signed by Green Bay legend and Mississippi native Brett Favre.

“I am going to be going to Green Bay, Wisconsin to go meet the Green Bay Packers,” said Kobe.

“This is a wish for Kobe that has been something he has really been looking forward to for a long time. He has been going to his treatments. It is kind of like a reward for him of having something waiting on him, that will kind of motivated him has he has been going through those conditions,” said Make-A-Wish spokesman Rod Henderson.

The staff at Columbus Orthopaedic Clinic was there for the big reveal and they even dressed up for a Halloween party.
