This year tomorrow’s young farming leaders are being groomed on how to manage the earth’s natural resources sustainability.
They are reviving traditional agricultural practices such as family and community gardens.
“Just numerous activities to engage the young people, and think about how food is actually raised. And where it comes from, and the quality to improve their health for the long term,” said Frank Taylor, WCSHC Team Leader.
The two day conference continues saturday beginning at 8 in the morning with a farm tour and ends with lunch around noon.
