STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) — The search for a new Starkville High principal will take a little longer. Last week’s spring break holiday forced school leaders to delay the application deadline from March 17th to March 27th. An 11-person search committee made up of parents, staff, students and the community then will begin reviewing those applicants. A survey already has been conducted to see what stakeholders want in a principal and the search committee has begun discussing a rating system.
Former principal Keith Fennell left the school to take a job at Jackson State University.
