Video: Teachers Wrap Up Math, Science Program

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) — School isn’t necessarily out for summer for area educators.

37 teachers from Starkville are finishing up a two-week program, which focuses on math and science.

It’s a partnership grant funded through the Mississippi Department of Education.

“I think just how to integrate math throughout all the subjects. We’ve learned English language arts, writing, but we also learned how to integrate into art, into music, and our everyday classroom,” said teacher Brittany Turner.

Teachers will participate in a winter conference in February.
