[bitsontherun OBVQ81LU]COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI)-They call it the Black Friday of bake sales. The Lee Home bake sale in Columbus had people scrambling for their favorite goodies Tuesday (11-20) morning. The annual fundraiser benefits the upkeep of the Stephen D. Lee Home on 7th street in Columbus. Caramel cakes, cheese straws, and pecan pies were just a few of the many treats for sale. Shoppers arrived as early as 7:15 Tuesday morning to get the first number in line. When it all started at 10:00, within a matter of minutes the tables were cleared. The Association for the Preservation of Antiquities organized the sale and provided the baked goods.
