UNION, Miss. (WCBI) — The Union County Heritage Museum receives $500,000 to help with its expansion.
The money is part of a statewide, 200-million dollar bond, and will help pay for a little about a third of the expansion’s total cost.
The project is expected to double the size of the museum. The expansion will also add display rooms.
The museum will begin a fundraising campaign to supplement the state money.
