OKTIBBEHA COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)-With more state and federal money possibly available, a busy Oktibbeha County road could see some major improvements this year.

Supervisors today officially designated Old Highway 25 between Louisville Street and the new Highway 25 as a state aid road. If other counties don’t use all their money this year, Oktibbeha County could apply for funds to repair the 3.5 mile stretch. The county has about $500,000 available but the work is expected to cost twice that.
