Heat Wave Starts Today
We'll see a 25% chance of rain today, mostly in our north; however, we're heading into a drier and much hotter weather pattern as the dog days of summer continue to roll through. Highs will climb into the upper 90's; although it will feel anywhere between 105-110 degrees. Therefore, Heat Advisories are also in effect throughout the entire viewing area. Humid With T'Showers Later
Increasing clouds with occasional peaks of sunshine will be seen across northeast MS and AL today with highs in the low to mid 90's. Expect a better coverage of rain for this afternoon especially in the north, as a frontal system sags southward. Another Dose Of Rain Expected
Abundant moisture will make for a hot and humid day across the region. Scattered showers and storms will start to break out as we go through the afternoon and evening. Highs will be in the middle 90's with heat index values in the triple digits. Lows will be in the mid 70's. Temperatures continue to climb as rain chances decrease through the rest of the week.

The Heat Continues Today
Tropical moisture is being tossed our way, thanks to what was once tropical storm Bonnie, now tropical depression. Not much relief is expected today as hot and humid conditions persist. A HEAT ADVISORY is in effect for the entire viewing area as highs today climb to around 100 degrees. The advisory will expire for our MS counties at 8pm and Alabama counties at 7pm.
