WINONA, Miss. (WCBI ) – Oh what fun, it is to ride, at the Winona Parade.

Thousands lined Summit and Front Streets as the December tradition snaked its way through the Cross Roads of North Mississippi.

This year’s event featured 60 entries and included antique cars, the Winona High School Band, and, all the way from Itta Bena, The Mean Green Marching Music Machine from Mississippi Valley State University.

And no Christmas Parade would be complete without a visit from Santa Claus.

We’re told a singing Christmas Tree also made an appearance.
