Woman Reported Missing In Pickens County

Correction: The day Cook went missing has been updated to reflect the latest information from the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office.

PICKENS COUNTY, Ala. (WCBI-TV) – The Pickens County Sheriff’s Office is looking for someone who’s been reported missing in west Alabama. The department is asking for help in finding Christy Cook.

Sheriff David Abston says she was last seen in Pickens County last Tuesday afternoon. He says she was traveling to Tennessee and didn’t arrive at her destination.

She was in a black GMC pickup, pulling a white ski boat. The truck was recovered in Etowah County.

She’s five-foot-three-inches tall, weighing 150 pounds. She has the tattoo of the number 5150 on the right side of her neck.
