$1 Million Bond Set for Sexual Battery Suspect

CALHOUN COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — A Calhoun County man faces sexual battery and fondling charges involving three underage girls.

Sheriff Greg Pollan says 53-year-old James Conner is charged with four counts of fondling and four counts of sexual battery of a child under age 14. His bond is set at $1 million.

The investigation began after the Department of Human Services alerted sheriff’s detectives to the possible abuse of two victims. Another victim came forward during the investigation.
