2 Arrested, Possession of Meth w/ Intent

ELLIS AND HILL

ITAWAMBA COUNTY (WCBI)– A routine traffic stop lands two people in jail with felony charges.

Itawamba County law enforcement officials arrested Richard Allen Ellis Jr., 26, of Mooreville and Chrystal Hill, 34, 0f Fairview for possession of meth with intent to sell.

Authorities said they were stopped during a routine traffic stop and after searching their car they discovered approximately ten grams of meth.

Ellis received a $10,000 bond at his initial court appearance. Bond was set at $100,000 for Hill due to several additional felony charges.

As of Monday, Ellis and Hill are being held at the Itawamba County Jail.
