PICKENS COUNTY, Ala. (WCBI)-A Pickens County, Alabama woman survives being stabbed in the neck and her grandson is on the run. Pickens County Sheriff David Abston says deputies are searching for 18-year-old Telvin Tramonz Henry who is suspected of stabbing his 71-year-old grandmother at about 9 Tuesday morning at her home in the Spring Hill community. Investigators still are looking for a kitchen knife thought to be the weapon. Deputies used blood hounds to track Henry Tuesday but lost him. They think he may have caught a ride and could be in Columbus where his half-brother lives. Henry is about six feet tall and weighs about 140 pounds. Abston says the woman is in serious condition after making it through surgery. Anyone with information is asked to call the Pickens County Sheriff’s Department.
