Video: $500,000 Bond Set for Sexual Battery Suspect

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) — A Tupelo man accused of sexual battery of a child under 14 and motor vehicle theft is in jail in Lee County.

Tupelo Police have sought Stephen Paul Miller, 35, since last month. The U.S. Marshal Service fugitive task force helped locate him Oct. 29 in Las Vegas and he was returned Tuesday to Lee County.

Lee County Justice Court Judge Sadie Holland set his bond at $500,000.

He had been the subject of a Northeast Mississippi Crime Stoppers segment Oct. 27. At that time, police said he might be driving a stolen 1998 Chevrolet Blazer.
