A Chilly End To The Weekend

Chilly temperatures arrived to the viewing area today. Afternoon highs only reached the upper 50s. Along with the cooler numbers, a good few of us saw rain. As we roll into the evening hours we may see a shower/storm or two, mainly along HWY 82 and north.

It looks like we’ll start out Sunday in the upper 40s and lower 50s. With a few sparks left in the atmosphere we may see an isolated shower at some point during the day. Afternoon temperatures should be mainly in the 60s (some 50s are possible in the north.)  A northerly breeze between 10 and 15 mph will make it feel a bit cooler too.

Temperatures early Monday morning will easily fall into the lower 40s, especially the further north that you live. School kids and folks headed out the door early should prepare for very chilly conditions.

We’ll moderate early next week under mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies.  70s look attainable by Tuesday and we may be flirting with 80 again Thursday and Friday.
