A Few Flakes Possible Wednesday Morning

A few snow flakes are possible across North Mississippi on Wednesday morning; however, we don’t anticipate any significant accumulation in the WCBI viewing area.  The best chance to see a few inches would be in the northwestern Delta between Memphis and Clarksdale.  Blizzard conditions are expected in eastern Arkansas and northwestern Tennessee if you can believe that.   Temperatures will cool into the mid 30s tonight and strong NW winds between 15 and 25 mph will develop.  Wind gusts between 30 and 40 mph are possible.

Skies will gradually clear by late Wednesday afternoon but blustery conditions will continue.  Afternoon temperatures will struggle into the low 40s but gusty NW winds will make it feel like it’s in the upper 20s or low 30s.

We’re back into the mid 20s Wednesday night but bright sunshine and light wind will return on Thursday.  Highs will be in the 40s.

The next chance of rain will be Friday afternoon through Saturday morning.  No storms are expected at this time.
