Aberdeen Man Arrested for Possession of Crack Cocaine

MONROE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — A traffic stop yields one arrest Sunday in Monroe County.

40-year-old Aberdeen resident Richard Blanchard was directed to pull off to the side of the road on Highway 8.

Monroe County deputies found Blanchard to be in possession of crack cocaine, and charged him with felony possession of the drug.

Bond has not been set, and Blanchard is currently detained in the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department.
