ABERDEEN, Miss. (WCBI) — Aberdeen hopes a new city flag will mix the city’s rich history with a vision for the future. Aldermen have approved a draft of the flag and will make some changes over the next month before putting it to use.

The flag’s slogan promotes the city’s diversity and pictures of some of its historic homes and buildings with images of what some of the city’s architecture could look like in the future.
