Aberdeen Resident Charged with Possession, Intent

MONROE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — Deputies with the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department Narcotics Unit discover marijuana during a traffic stop.

27-year-old Keon Hinton of Aberdeen was arrested after agents discovered an unknown amount of marijuana in his vehicle during a routine traffic stop on Highway 25/45 Alt. According to a press release, the marijuana had been divvied into bags for distribution.

Hinton was charged with possession of marijuana, as well as intent to distribute.

Bond has not been set, and Hinton is currently being detained at the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department Detention Center.
