Alabama Man Allegedly Threatened Football Players in Locker Room

FAYETTE, Ala. (WCBI) — A Fayette, Ala. man is accused of going into the Gordo High School locker room and threatening football players.

22-year-old Robert Smith III is charged with making terrorist threats against the team and trespassing.

The incident happened Aug. 29 when Fayette High played the Green Wave in Gordo.

Fayette Police Chief Todd Hall says Smith is related to a Fayette player.

Smith’s bond was set at $25,000.
